Using Your Friends Wisely
We all have areas where we excel. If you use your skills wisely, you become successful.
What I’m good at: coordinating outfits. I can think of 20 different ways that you can wear one thing. I can even pair it with 20 different things that you have in your closet. I am creative when it comes to color combinations. My friends have used my free help/advice over and over again. My friends actually schedule appointments with me to help pair stuff together.
I am so creative, that my closet used to look like this:
I know, right? Look at all of those pretty colors…I came to a breaking point right before Christmas. I was tired of going through that blue bin to look for shoes. They were there, but always seemed to be at the very bottom.
Bartering with your friends:
So I decided to trade skills/talents with one of my friends who is really good with organizing. Not only does she know several ways to organize your shoes, she sits with you and asks, “how often to you need to access this?”
So after some purging and some organizing, my closet now looks like this:

Clothes are now organized by color and item.
Moral of the story: USE YOUR FRIENDS.
Your friends use you for your skills, so let them show you how talented they are. You can trade your skills for theirs - it’s a win-win!
